MS ARCHITECT - PHD CANDIDATE
Osman Sümer is a highly skilled and creative individual who graduated from METU Department of Architecture with the prestigious Chair's Award for Best Graduation Project. Throughout his academic and professional career, he has achieved notable success by winning numerous international and national competitions.
His passion lies in the development of innovative conceptual design projects, where he effectively combines his design background with cutting-edge 3D software, game engines, and various media applications. His aim is to push the boundaries of architectural design by leveraging the latest advancements in computer graphics.
With extensive experience as an architectural designer, Osman has worked on a diverse range of projects for renowned Architecture & Design Firms such as TEGET (Istanbul), GAD (New York, Istanbul), and TABANLIOGLU Architects (Istanbul, Dubai, Doha). This exposure has allowed him to refine his skills and broaden his expertise in the field.
In 2017, Osman embarked on a new academic journey by enrolling as a Master of Science (MSc) student at Eindhoven University of Technology, focusing on design computing, AR/VR technologies, and parametric design. During this time, he also served as a USRE Research Intern at the Department of Informatics - Information Systems Lab, further expanding his knowledge and practical experience.
Currently, Osman is pursuing his PhD in Architectural Theory, where he is dedicated to advancing the field through his research. His multidisciplinary background and expertise make him a valuable asset in bridging the gap between architecture and emerging technologies."
